Stefan Gimpl scores 2nd place at Wängl Tängl

Stefan Gimpl finished in second place at the final event of the Ästhetiker tour. The “Wängl Tängl” in Penken ob Mayrhofen/Zillertal from 24th-26th of march was monster session. In a highly explosive final, Stefan showed great performance over the three huge kickers an was only beaten bei Ville Uotila.

F2 riders Mitch Tölderer&Gèraldine Fassnacht got 2nd places at VERBIER EXTREME

year after year the Xtreme has become the greatest manifestation of freeriding in the world.Up to now only the best riders were invited to ride down the infamous Bec des Rosses. The judges elected Mitch TÖLDERER/F2 and Gèraldine FASSNACHT/F2 on 2nd   place of the EXTREME `06 edition.

Event Tip: SPRING IN THE PARK for freeskiers and sonwoarders
The recently opened terrain park Zugspitze invites you to the grand spring-camp form 10th to 23rd of april 2006. In the two Easter weeks, the new terrain park offers freeskiers and snowboarders great entertainment. Event Tip: Vertical Extreme

Also in 2006 top riders will compete in the Vertical Extreme contest and show the state-of-the-art in freeriding  This year element events will stage three contests. Kick-off is the 4th of march in Oberstdorf, on 18th of march it goes on at Wendelstein and the final event is on 1st of April at Dammkar (Karwendel/MIttenwald). Hot-Spot Goingbig Snowpark Spitzingsee

The Goingbig Snowpart at Spitzingsee is getting more and more a hot spot and get-together for the boarder scene!! Thanks to the excellent snow conditions, the two shapers Martin Poschenrieder and Dominik Schachten could rip through with their snow cat and established a perfect snowpark. Right now, they´re working on a huge kicker with 25m table. The park provides everything a boarder heart desires -  kickers, hips, roller, corner, wallrides, rails and boxes!! The most attention is paid to the new elefant-box, sponsored by F2. It´s a rainbow into straight box (12m length/40cm width) that really provides a special jibbing-feeling. 2nd Place for Stefan Gimpl at Big Air FIS Worldcup in Milan
Stefan Gimpl took home second place at the Big Air FIS Worldcup in Milan and defended his world cup leadership. With a healthy margin, 13th place at the next contest in St. Petersburg would be fine to take home the big air crown. Flo Mausser finished in 4th place and achieved his best result in the running season.

Melanie Hofmeister successful at Junior Slopestyle Contest in Laax
At the 7th European Open in Laax, Melanie Hofmeister impressed the judges with an awesome performance. On the 560 meter course, provided with kickers, corner and rails, she was able hold sway of the other youngsters and took  home 3rd place .                                                                                                                 

Stefan Gimpl celebrates world cup victory in big air contest

With a 2nd place at the European Cup at the Schleppe, Stefan could already gain the title for Austrian State Champion. Then at the Big Air Worldcup at the Schleppe Alm in front of 12.500 entusiastic Fans he crowned his successful week and took home victory with a "Frontside 900 Mute", a "Backside 720 Stailfish" and a "Cap900 Stailfish". Thus he could already take the over all lead after his second world cup appearance. Next chance to see Stafan in action is the FIS Big Air in Winterberg. Flo Mausser  also showed nice performance an finished in 5th place.

Manuela Pesko wins halfpipe contest at Kreischberg

Thanks to an impressive first run, Manuela Pesko (SUI) took the victory at the halfpipe contest at Kreischberg. With this victory she has taken the lead in the world cup and at the same time walked away with a ticket for Olympia.

Mario Fuchs captured victory at SBX #2 in Bad Gastein

At the 7th Snowboard Cross of NOKIA´S FIS world cup 05/06, Mario Fuchs took home victory after a tensing run. In the fnal he took hold on previous day winner Drew Neilson and finished in first place.

Nokia FIS WC Rotterdam

Stefan Gimpl took home a sensational second place at the Nokia FIS World Cup kick-off. With Flo Mausser, another F2 Teamrider could get into the top 5.

Nicholas Wolken joined the F2 Freestyle Team

The F2 Freestyle Team proudly presents our new teamrider Nicholas Wolken. The Swiss rider is well known in the scene and will now rock the kickers with our F2 boards and bindings. We are sure, you´ll be hearing more of him soon.

Frode SKARBO new member in the internat. F2 team!
F2 international F2 snowboardteam ist getting bigger and bigger and we can further present a new entry with the Norwegian Frode SKARBO. Frode is one of the hottest newcomer in the Scandinavians and recently he won "the Sheik of Skei" event !! At the moment Frode is travelling the best resorts in the alps for some photo-shootings and to make sure that you can see more about him in the mags coming season.....
